BOXING
The
2012 Olympic boxing tournaments are scheduled to take place at
London’s ExCel International Exhibition Centre from (July 28 to August 12). The sport made its first
appearance in the modern Games in 1920 at Antwerp.
Many great boxers, including Cassius Clay (Muhammed Ali) have
appeared at the Olympic Games over the years. The only time
women have featured in Olympix boxing was at the St Louis
Games in 1904
