More than 300
athletes are expected to take part in the gymnastic events at
Greenwich in south east London during the Olympic Games
between (July 28 and August 14), 2012.
The arena at North Greenwich Arena 1 will feature artistic
gymnastics and trampoline while the North Greenwich Arena 2
will be devoted to rhythmic gymnastics.
Gymnasts have taken part in all modern Games although rhythmic
gymnastics was only introduced in 1984 while the trampoline
took its bow in 2000.
