ROWING
Set
in 400 acres of parkland in the grounds of Eton College near
Windsor, London, Dorney Lake is to host the Olympic and
Paralympic rowing events in 2012 after successfully staging
the World Rowing Championship in 2006.
Fourteen gold medals will be fought over by more than 500
competitors between (July 28 and August 4). The competitions involve sweep
rowing and sculling.
