SHOOTING
Nearly 400 hotshots from around the world will
compete for a total of 15 gold medals at the The Royal
Artillery Barracks in London during the 2012 Games between
(July 28 and August 5).
The Olympic sport has three competitive branches utilising
pistols, rifles and shotguns. It was one of the sports staged
at the first modern Games in 1896 but women were only allowed
to take part for the first time in 1968 at Mexico City.
